Biography

Elena Markovic doesn't run the numbers on everything, and that's the part people underestimate -- she runs them on almost nothing, then commits completely to the one deal that clears her bar. She gives away almost nothing in a room while she's deciding, and even less once she has. The single investment she made this quarter has every other firm in the building asking what she saw that they didn't.
